Elnaz Rakabi

Elnaz Rebaki, born in 1989 in Tehran, has dedicated her life to climbing. She is a pioneer climber of reference in Iran, not only for her sporting achievements, but also for her constant contribution to the development of climbing and the training of promising young climbers. Alongside her own training, Elnaz works as a climbing coach across different levels and age groups. Between 2015 and 2016 she was the coach of the Iran youth and junior sport climbing national teams. Now, she instructs more than 50 climbers out of a small climbing gym she started and designed in Tehran.

With the Olympic Games as her main goal, Elnaz dedicates the majority of her time to preparing for competitions, but she also loves spending time outdoors. She considers herself a versatile climber, and enjoys both bouldering and lead.

With more than 20 years of experience across many disciplines, Elnaz is an icon of climbing who has gone beyond sporting success.
